Ingredients:

  • chickpeas, cooked, 2 cups
  • aquafaba (chickpea liquid), 1/4 cup
  • celery, 1 large stalk, diced
  • carrot, 1 medium sized, grated
  • onion, 1 small, diced
  • flour, 60g
  • salt
  • pepper

Steps:

  1. add chickpeas to a bowl, mash several times until most beans are broken up
  2. add other ingredients, except for aquafaba; mix
  3. add aquafaba while continuing to mix, a little bit at a time, until the mixture mostly holds its form
  4. form into 4 patties
  5. cook until golden brown

Yields 4 servings.
